Easy peelers are varieties of which the outer skin comes off easily. Generally members of the Mandarin family are easy peelers. Some of these types of varieties can have a very thin skin which can be pierced and removed easily. Others have a rougher thicker skin that fits loosely around the fruit allowing most of the skin to come off in one swift motion.

Some varieties that are classified as easy peelers are: Clementine’s, Nadorcotts, Satsuma’s, Nova’s, etc.
